Charlotte Ekker Wiggins has a master's degree in Management from Webster University, St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science special major in Broadcasting and World Affairs from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.

  • Retired from USDA Forest Service in 2015 after a 30-year public affairs career.
  • ​MSBA Beekeeper of the Year 2015 for helping to change Missouri's honey labelling laws.​​
  • Founder Rolla Bee Club in 2014 to support students from her annual beginning beekeeping classes. 
  • In 2009, Charlotte retired from a 21-year award-winning public affairs career with US Navy.​​
  • Elected Rolla City Council member 1999-2007.
  • Bluebird Gardens, a custom online gift business, launched in 1998.​​
